KoalaDoc Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy outlines how we comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
We collect personal information you provide directly — including your name, email address, organisation, ABN, and the contents of envelopes you send and receive through KoalaDoc.
How we store your data
All data is stored exclusively within Australia, in the AWS ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region. Documents are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3.
Access, correction, and deletion (APP 11–13)
You can request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or request its deletion at any time by emailing privacy@koaladoc.com.au. We respond within 30 days.
Notifiable Data Breaches
If we suffer an eligible data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
