The questions we hear most.
Will a KoalaDoc-signed contract hold up in court?
Yes. Documents signed via KoalaDoc satisfy the reliability test in s10 of the Electronic Transactions Act 1999, and the sealed PDF plus audit trail meets the integrity standard relied on by Australian courts. We've designed for admissibility under Evidence Act §146/§147 from day one.
Can we use it for witnessed documents like statutory declarations?
Yes. You can add a dedicated witness role to the envelope. Note state-by-state rules on remote witnessing still apply — KoalaDoc gives you the signing infrastructure, not the legal advice on whether remote witnessing is permitted for your document type.
Where is our client data stored?
In Sydney (ap-southeast-2), encrypted at rest with AES-256. Your client files never leave Australia.
Compliance isn't a tick-box. It's the foundation.
