Electronic Signature Disclosure
Your consent to use electronic signatures and records on KoalaDoc.
1. Consent to do business electronically
By clicking "Review document" and signing through KoalaDoc, you agree to receive, review, sign and store documents electronically. Electronic signatures applied through KoalaDoc are legally binding under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth) and the corresponding state and territory Electronic Transactions Acts in Australia.
2. Identification and signing method
We identify you using the unique signing link sent to your email or mobile number, the device you sign from, and (where the sender requires it) additional access controls such as a passcode or SMS one-time code. Your signature is captured as a typed, drawn or uploaded image and bound to the document together with a tamper-evident audit trail.
3. Hardware and software requirements
To use KoalaDoc you need a current version of a modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox), an active internet connection, an email address or mobile number where you can receive your signing link, and a device capable of displaying PDF documents.
4. Your signed copy
Once all parties have signed, you will receive a copy of the completed document and a Certificate of Completion containing the audit trail. We recommend you save these for your records.
5. Withdrawing consent
You may decline to sign at any time using the "Decline" option on the signing screen. If you withdraw consent partway through, the documents will not be signed by you and the sender will be notified.
6. Contact
If you have questions about this disclosure, contact the organisation that sent you the envelope, or KoalaDoc at support@koaladoc.com.au.
